I have always been attracted to the colors and patterns of lights at airports. The images in the series “Airport Abstracts” are photographed from my airplane window seat as I gyrated the camera during a long exposure to create blurred nighttime photographs of airport taxiway and runway lights, and aerial views of distant city lights when landing or departing from airports.
